John St. James has been practicing health and wellness for over 40 years. He became a certified instructor and started his teaching career at the age of 18. He later started his first school while attending the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in 1982. It was during this time that Mr. St. James studied healing (acupressure and energy wellness) with Master Hong Ku Baek in Mira Mesa, California.

President of the Healing Warrior Society, Mr. St. James is an expert in transformational leadership and personal development through his unique style of mindfulness teaching. It is through the Healing Warrior Society that Mr. St. James helps members learn and become certified in mindfulness training which is one of the five core learning systems that are offered through the Healing Warrior Society.

Jason Duva

Jason Duva has been studying health and wellness arts for over thirty years. Since becoming a certified martial arts instructor in 1992, he has been helping students to develop lifelong habits for well-being. Mr. Duva has studied eastern philosophy and mindfulness techniques throughout his martial arts career together with extensive training in modern, evidence-based principles of nutrition, mobility, and health.

Mr. Duva holds a 6th degree Black Belt, Master Instructor, with the Atlantic-Pacific Tang Soo Do Federation, is a member of the Federation advisory board, chair of its legal committee, and Director of the Federation’s Northeastern United States region. Mr. Duva is a practicing attorney, specializing in media and technology; he received his law degree from Boston College Law School and his bachelor's degree from Brown University.

Peter Estrada

Stretching & Mobility Sub-Committee Chair

Peter Estrada has been studying, teaching, and practicing both western and eastern medicine for nine years. In addition to holding a 5th degree black belt in the Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do, he is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Physician Extender, a Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer, and a Certified Exercise Physiologist. His specialty among many practices is Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is well versed in Manual Therapy, Cupping, Kinesiotaping, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, and Dry Needling (a Western form of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture). Studying the origin and roots of Dry Needling encouraged Mr. Estrada to dive deeper into holistic medicine.

Mr. Estrada has worked with many diverse populations to include Division 1 and 3 Collegiate Athletes, U.S. Air Force Special Operators/Tactical Athletes, Pediatrics, and other various populations within the community. He is grateful for the many opportunities to work with different outstanding colleagues and mentors who have guided and shaped his clinical practice.

Mr. Estrada is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Athletic Training-Sports Medicine from A.T. Still University in Meza, Arizona with an anticipated graduation date of Fall 2020.
