Peter Estrada has been studying, teaching, and practicing both western and eastern medicine for nine years. In addition to holding a 5th degree black belt in the Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do, he is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Physician Extender, a Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer, and a Certified Exercise Physiologist. His specialty among many practices is Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is well versed in Manual Therapy, Cupping, Kinesiotaping, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, and Dry Needling (a Western form of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture). Studying the origin and roots of Dry Needling encouraged Mr. Estrada to dive deeper into holistic medicine.
Mr. Estrada has worked with many diverse populations to include Division 1 and 3 Collegiate Athletes, U.S. Air Force Special Operators/Tactical Athletes, Pediatrics, and other various populations within the community. He is grateful for the many opportunities to work with different outstanding colleagues and mentors who have guided and shaped his clinical practice.
Mr. Estrada is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Athletic Training-Sports Medicine from A.T. Still University in Meza, Arizona with an anticipated graduation date of Fall 2020.
